Somewhere east of Winslow, Arizona are the remnants of Joseph City.  Like so many communities along Route 66, Joseph City is a faint shadow of its former self.  Shells of businesses line the road with windows broken or boarded up with graffiti spattered plywood.  The signs of now demolished motels stand as rusting sentinels to the glittering, neon past when The Mother Road was the life-line between Chicago and L.A.
